Interview with the house duo, souljasoul

Despite the sudden and overwhelming interest in their talent,the duo remain humble and grounded am talking about this two house deejays and producers  who makes the great sound behind the vinyl.

Soljasouls is house duo from Hammanskraal aming to cross the cultural, radical and age boundries in deep house and house music, they make something out of nothing , from the background of  home studio , to a big  waving tune in radio station and clubs , judging by the quality of their sound' you can tell this two know their story.

Soljasouls duo is made up of two artist named Robert and Josta , as I spoke to these guys jostar told us he has been working professionally as producer and he had produced numbers of well known Artist that's includes Jika boys ( the trio that is well known by the famous track sijekele khaya from soshanguvhe)

As I walk in their studio to have a quick chat with them, one thing in mind was who are this guys and where are they going?

Robert told us they are still branding up their name and they look forward to collaborate with other artists to name few Black coffee,Black Motion, heavy K and others from kalawa Records  and to produce more work locally and internationally. 

We are talking about music, the fresh-faced youngsters seems More mature and confident than someone twice their age.

Josta added by saying soljasouls is incredibly prolific, Robert and jostar are destined for great things.

We asked them about their music, and they told us they have no clue to describe their music,

The say they produce and play house and tribal music , this kind of genre is more commercialized tracks in South Africa which can be played everywhere that's include urban and rural areas. reading between the lines you can tell the duo aim to rock the deck!

The duo is signed under the 1stjhb music label, which had signed the likes of  DJ The Josh, Trademark and Jika Boys   

As it is women's month we asked them what they think about women. And Robert told us he is always inspired by her mother who is always there for him despite all odds "I love my mom , she means everything to me"

And josta added by saying women are very important role models in our life and women had played a magnified role in our struggle and liberation of our country, they are very important to us"
